Beware doing ANY business with Global Field Services, LLC! Several lawsuits are being filed against this company for non-payment for services rendered by field agents.
If you have been contacted by them or are considering doing field chases and contacting debtors on their behalf understand that others out there, including private investigators, that are claiming that this company owes them thousands of dollars for work completed on their behalf.
You have been warned.
If you are a independent contractor of Global Field Services and you have not been paid, I'd like to hear about it here- post a comment to this blog post. Then file a lawsuit against them and make a complaint to your state trade commissioner.

I've also been rip off by this company this year and have made several attempts to resolve the matter and have been ignored for several months.
I too am (a now ex-field agent) for this outfit. I've in fact just had a very heated discussion (actually he was doing all the shouting) with the owner, and rather than make good on the money owed, was yelled at for my efforts. I would like to know more about any current outstatnding class-action lawsuits against the company. Apparently this is how you're repaid when you ask them for money owed.

They owe me money for work I performed for them. They bounced checks many times and refused to pay. They recently had to hire all new in house staff employees because the entire staff left the company because the owner bounced all his payroll checks. The owner had another company where he screwed all his field agents. One of his in house staff who quit told me he owned a couple of companies where he screwed all his field reps before starting another similar company. If you work for them you will be screwed. My recommendation is call his clients and let them know that he is screwing all the field agents. The clients will realize that the agents are not going to do the dedicated work they are paying for if the agents are getting screwed. Call his clients and reveal what he is doing and they will suffer too.
We too have not gotten paid. The check is always in the mail or lost in the mail or some other BS story.
They were a decent company once but the guy in charge now is full of crap!

Just in case Global is reading this post, BE ADVISED, we intend to do whatever it takes to get our money. We suggest you pay those who you owe now. It will be cheaper for you in the long run!
The owner of the company had another company which I worked for and he did not pay many of his field reps. If you do work for him beware because at some point you probably will not get paid. He pays in the beginning but he constantly advertises for new reps and when he finds somebody else in the area you are handling he will stop paying you. When you call him he will give you a hundred different excuses why you never received your check. He will keep sending you additional work and not pay you. By the time you realize your not going to get paid the amount he owes you has increased. He knows it is difficult to sue him because you do not live in the same state as he does and it is costly for you to do this. Beware of doing work for him. At some point you probably will be screwed by him.

A year later he started this company and is still not paying people just like he did with his other company. He owes me money for work I did for him. He stopped paying and when I called him and he had many reasons why the check never arrived in the mail box. The check was always in the mail but it never arrived. When it did arrive it bounced. He kept asking me to do more work while I was waiting for the check and the replacement check for the insufficent funds check he sent which bounced. I did additional work for him while I waited for payment which never arrived. My final conversation with him he treated me the same way as the previous person who wrote. He just yelled at me like it was my fault he was not paying.

Although they may not be able to recover our money, they will put the company on notice of Global Field Services activities
I believe the more complaints they receive, the more difficult it will become to continue to operate the way they have

I am completing a consumer complaint form against Global for money due me. I will be sending this to Consumer Protection Division, PO Box 83720, Boise, ID 83720-0010. Please send your complaint to the Attorney General, Idaho and we can put them to task about paying us.
We have been ripped by this company also. Sent a copy of your bill to the Attorney General, Idaho and contact the banks, companies, etc and tell them that Global does not pay their field representatives. I am sending a notice to Bank of America and Carrington Mortgage Services about Global.
I recently commented on Global Field Services but it is not noted. Was it because there was too much specific information?

I’m not afraid to put my name down on a comment especially if I know what I say is truthful. I can understand a few problems with Global Field Services, employee turnovers, miscommunications, and computer cliches but this is a plain scam.
Global Field Services claimed to me non-payment to field contact personnel because of lost checks and companies not paying them for services.
It is not a lot of money but with the cost of fuel and trying to do the right thing even seasoned professionals get hosed. I have been bit 4 times.
What is ironic is that I even questioned Christina, Brett, and at least eight other people in GFS about this problem in the last many months. They are quick to send you a new account to run but months for the check, if ever, to arrive in the mail. At first I thought this site might just be a few disgruntled individuals but it appears to be much more and is valid.
Ironically, I have contacts on my own with Chase, Citi, and several of the other companies. I wonder if these companies and those collectors can see the big picture of a few tiny people profiting at the hands of others? Any field agents in Idaho want to deliver a collection letter for me?
Chase Auto Finance, Citi Financial, and you others should be looking at these people yourself. I will follow-up with each of you about my concerns with GFS.
Keep the $150 bucks or so you owe me. You need it more than I do.
I made contact with nearly every person you contacted me on for an account even going into Ohio & Indiana. Never once did I get a thank you or acknowledgement of the little extra I did just because some professionals do more than others. Im sure many others have the same work ethic because we all strive to do our best.
I won’t waste my time or email anymore with the shady-likes of Global Field Services.
If Global Field Services wishes to dispute all of this They know my name and I'm sure know of the other field agencts who they bit.

I have not been paid since early 2008. They were ok before that, but since, not even a phone call. My staff performed all chases on time with timely reports...
Can I send all invoices to B of A, Pinnacle, etc. and demand payment from them? Since they were the ordering agency...I am sure GFS was getting money from them for these completed reports.
And the bad thing is that I am still hopeful that I will be paid
and continue to take work, complete it, infear that if I don't I will never be paid.

Brett is supposed to be working out of Idaho? Why is it that Idaho Attorney General has never heard of him or Global Field Services? Where are they registered?
As for the previous comment, that is exactly what I would do. Contact BofA, Pinnicle, and anyone else to put reputable companies on notice to the shenanigans of Global Field Services.

Things seem to be brewing against Brett Metcalfe and Global Field Services. Numerous people have called for help and each is going to their own law enfrocement jurisdiction to file complaints. They also were advised to follow-up with Idaho Attorney General.

This week alone I heard from 4 more people and many have come up with an interesting idea. Global Field Services and Brett Metcalfe are agents for these major corporation and employ GFS to act on their behalf. Why not file lawsuits against the corporations for each and every occurrence when payment was not made my GFS. That will get their attention and then Metcalfe and his slimy bunch will go back into their holes. Of course within a month they will be back with a new name and phone number but for awhile justice might prevail.
Consider this? If 30 people are owed just $150.00 each that is a total of $4,500.00 that has been scammed by GFS from the hard work of their field agents. Not a bad piece of change for GFS especially if what they were being paid by the corporation is 2-3 times higher?
Metcalfe et al deserve to be in prison and the Idaho Attorney General should be looking at his company as a RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) criminal enterprise.

I am owed money as well.. I send emails and I get passed around saying that that person does not take care of payment. And then I get oh it is in the mail don't get it call them and I get that was sent out wait another few days see if it comes if not call us back and we will send you another one. I wait nothing.. I call Brent then I get you had late accounts knowning that nothing was late it was on time so if your sending in late accounts why should we send you your payment on time. What a real jurk.. I would never do anymore work for them. I told the jerk I would not do anymore accounts for him until I get paid them I keep getting accounts and they would call wherer are the results I told them I sent an email saying I could not do that account until I get paid. I have one of the girls in the office say can you get this done and I will get you paid I would tell them no over night a check to me and I might think about it. Then I moved out of state told them hundred of time I moved and they still send stuff it took about 5 month for them to stop sending me work.. I hope this jerk gets what is coming around to him and I hope he goes to jail for a long time..
Please, do not do business with this company. They pay for your firsr field chases and then you will have to sue them for your money. This is no way to run a company.
Here is my question. Since these guys are apparently the wrong field services company to apply with, what field services companies can you recommend applying to? The only other one I know of is Guardian Portfolio Services. I'm a former leo looking to get into this field. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I am owed for a field service I did for these people a couple of months ago. I was paid with a check that bounced. I called Pinacle Business Finance. It appears that they have an incestuous relationship with Global. I have just e-mailed them to inform them that if I am not paid in the next three days, I will go to the attorney generals office in both states.

I have done work for these people and still have not been paid, first check bounced, second check is again lost in the mail. If you can get a hold of me with the names of any of their clients, I will wriite to them and see that they get a copy of this web site. I will do what ever I can to help put Metcalfe out of business. (guess what ? Metcalfe reads these blogs.)
I, too, have been ripped off. I called some of GFS clients, but was able to speak with someone at Carrington who actually sounded concerned. The BBB/Consumer Protection Agency didn't work for me as I was not a consumer in this context. It was more of and "employment" issue. Goodness, the $300 Brett Metcalf owes me is not worth my time chasing him. If, however, there was some type of group, class action-type suit, I'd assist. Sigh...

This company is brand new and I suspect it might be Brett's new company but they deny they are connected with him. They do acknowledge they are aware of him. Anybody know if he formed a new company and the old company is defunct? They also would not say how they got my name and address.

Global Field Services used our process serving services over here in Yuma, Arizona back in November 2009. They have not paid what we are owed and there is no way of us contacting them either. If anyone can help please reply. Thanks.
Brett Metcalf should be in jail. He owes me money. I worked for him from 1999 to 2003 when he stopped paying me. I still haven't been paid. When I worked for him the company name was Creditor Assistance then stopped paying people and changed the name to Creditor Allinaces and then changed the name to Global Field Service. Somebody take him down.

He would periodically send a check for asmall amount, but never what he actually promised or owed. I kept taking the work and him at his word. I am still owed approx. 3, 000.00 for work completed in San Mateo SF, And Santa Clara Counties.(CA). I stopped taking work in 2010. is there a way to press B of A, Carrington, Pinnacle, etc. to pay or sue them directly for verified "Work Completed" on their letterhead and demand letters? Anyone tried? Any luck?
